Julia Torero

Julia is a Toronto-based certified fitness instructor whose mission is to
help people feel healthy and happy through the power of
exercise. Her Zumba sessions provide an invigorating experience,
fostering renewed energy levels and overall health and wellness.

Julia's Story

Julia has been a fitness instructor since 2008, and she is certified in strength-training, Pilates, Zumba, and kick-boxing. She has worked in clinics, spas, and gyms from around the world, including Peru, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and for the last five years, in Canada.


Julia is an expert at assessing the fitness capacity of her participants in order to cater to their needs. She can adjust the intensity and range of movements for all levels. Julia makes sure her low intensity Zumba classes are full of stylish Latino dance moves that are easy and fun to learn. Julia uses Zumba to introduce learnes to international dance movements from various genres, including salsa, cumbia, merengue,
belly dancing, reggae-ton, and calypso. The rhythms are upbeat to inspire movements that involve resistance training and core strength toning in a full-body workout!


Julia is a firm believer in the health benefits of Zumba and other cardio-based dance exercises. Her routines invigorate energy levels and improve the overall coordination of physical movement. The classes are easy to follow, and Julia will inspire you to feel the music and let loose. Julia’s love for exercise and well-being were her driving force in choosing a career in fitness. In her spare time, Julia likes meditating, connecting with nature, and trying new recipes for healthy eating.
