Sasha's Story

Sasha Ludavicius was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. During her adolescence, she trained as a competitive dancer, figure skater, and gymnast, but discovered her passion for classical Ballet and Contemporary dance, by studying internationally. In 2016, she graduated from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. She has been a Toronto-based professional Contemporary dance artist for the past 8 years. Currently, she is a company member with a Contemporary dance company called ProArteDanza.

In furthering her training as a dance artist, she became a freelance Contemporary dance teacher for adults and children, as well as a Rehearsal Director for dance performances. Since 2018, she has been the Training Manager and Rehearsal Director for the ProArteDanza’s Summer Dance Intensive Program. Presently, she is offering Contemporary dance workshops in performing art high schools. Her passion for movement influenced her in becoming a certificated Yoga and Barre instructor. Additionally, she is a fitness instructor, mobility coach and personal trainer.

Sasha’s classes emphasis a dynamic practice that incorporates the connectivity of breathe to movement, while including the importance of developing body awareness. Her fusion style of teaching focuses on proper alignment, strength building, active and passive flexibility, and balance. Sasha is looking forward to facilitating and inspiring clients along their journey of movement exploration.

Sasha has a very active lifestyle. When she is not dancing or teaching, she is an avid traveler, foodie and rock climber. Sasha continues to have her own yoga practice and enjoys hiking as well as discussing her world adventures.
