Agnes Budyn

Agnes is a pelvic health physiotherapist, specializing in women’s health. Agnes uses education, exercise guidance, and manual therapy to help you build confidence and strength in your pelvic floor and core.  

Agnes' Story

Agnes has been working as a registered physiotherapist since 2014. She graduated from McMaster University with an honors degree in Life Science and then went on to receive her Doctorate in Physiotherapy from Utica University in upstate New York.

 

She practiced orthopedic physiotherapy for several years with a wide range of clients of various conditions. After having her first child, she developed an interest in women's health and decided to specialize in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She received her certification in 2019 and has been focusing on this area of practice ever since. 

 

Known for her compassionate and caring nature, her focus is to educate women about their bodies, particularly regarding the changes that happen during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and menopause. She also works with patients experiencing painful intercourse and individuals with chronic pelvic pain. From her years of experience in orthopedic physiotherapy, Agnes uses a holistic approach to pelvic rehab to encourage, empower, and support her patients throughout any pelvic health needs. Agnes uses education, exercise guidance, and manual therapy to help you build confidence and strength in your pelvic floor and core.

Outside of her physiotherapy practice, Agnes enjoys exploring the city and traveling with her family. She is an avid runner in the summer months and enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the wintertime.
