Heather's Story
Heather is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience, having graduated with honours from Centennial College's Massage Therapy Program in 2003, after completing the General Arts and Sciences Program at Fanshawe College in 2000.
Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of unique and dynamic environments, including working backstage with musicians, supporting production at the Toronto Pan Am Games, and contributing to festivals like Just For Laughs. She's had the privilege of working with high-performance and Olympic athletes, and providing care on film and TV sets, helping cast and crew maintain optimal performance. Heather has also supported patients during life’s pivotal moments, from labor to end-of-life care.
Heather's diverse experiences have helped her develop a versatile skill set. In addition to massage therapy, Heather is a Reiki Master with over a decade of experience, a Shamanic Practitioner, and a Certified Astrologer. Her practice is grounded in a deep understanding of the human body and its subtle nuances, combining technical knowledge with intuitive awareness to create personalized care for each patient.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys life with her daughter, Freyja. Music and sound are big influences for Heather, whether listening, singing, or playing her hand drum. Heather is passionate about learning ancient cultures and ancestry, advocating for honouring women’s life cycles and transitions, gathering with family and friends, communing with nature, and expressing her creativity through art, fashion, and interior design.
